Wallace Roney Jr. is one of the most electrifying young trumpeters on the scene today. Having one foot rooted in the tradition and another in the future, he blends multiple styles together in a way that doesn’t feel stagnant, while paying homage to his rich Jazz lineage. Having “cut his teeth” in bands led by Jack Dejohnette, Buster Williams, Lenny White, Steve Turre, Bobby Watson, Billy Hart, Al Foster, Stanley Clarke and many others–- Roney Jr. continues to “pay his dues” learning from the greats and incorporating that experience into his own playing and leadership style.

His quartet is one of the fastest rising ensembles in New York and leans into the more adventurous and creative aspects of Jazz. Taking inspiration from the likes Wayne Shorter, Charles Lloyd, Miles Davis and Ornette Coleman and more.

There is a $30 food and beverage minimum per person for this show. We ask that conversation be kept to a low volume/whisper during the performance.
