Kolumbo

Kolumbo is the exotica-inspired lounge project of Brooklyn-based pianist and synthesist Frank LoCrasto: warm, cinematic instrumental music drawing on jazz, Latin rhythms, ambient textures, and the exotica and film scores of the 1960s and '70s. Raised in Dallas, LoCrasto studied at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and The New School, and has recorded and toured with Pat Martino, Greg Osby, Cass McCombs, Parquet Courts and Fruit Bats.
